The CRISMA Project’s First Training Workshop on Modelling Crisis Management in Coimbra

The First Training on Modelling Crisis Management will take place on 15 November, 2014, in Coimbra, Portugal. Organised by Public Safety Communication Europe (PSCE) and the Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics (ADAI) in conjunction with the VII International Conference on Forest Fire Research, it will be the first workshop held under the auspices of the CRISMA project so far.

The CRISMA project seeks to provide opportunities to compare alternative actions and investments, as well as simulate human and economic consequences. During the training, three scenarios will be examined – earthquake followed by forest fire; flooding events; and management of medical emergency services during a crisis situation. The results of the different planning and resource management methods employed in each of these scenarios will also be analysed during the workshop.
