Start of the CRISMA project announced at PSCE Conference

On 30-31 May 2012, Public Safety Communication Europe Forum (PSCE), during its biannual conference, announced the start of CRISMA project.

PSCE mission is to foster, by consensus building, excellence in the development and use of public safety communications and information management systems as well as to improve the provision of public safety services and the safety of the citizens of Europe and the rest of the world. The PSCE provides a common platform for researchers, industry and users to meet and network, learn about technologies used for public safety and influence policy makers at European level.

Hosted by the Laurea University in Helsinki (Finland), the conference offered an interesting format, focusing on user requirements for broadband; convergence of critical governmental networks; authorities' field command models as well as on social media and the adaptation of PPDR procedures.
